Tigh Bhaan (White House) facing South over the Loch towards Morvern, boasting magnificent views. It is the first of several houses on the private bay of Camas Inas (Angus’s Bay), just 3 miles from the village of Salen with well stocked small shop, hotel and restaurant.
Tigh Bhaan is not a really a commercial holiday cottage, but our much loved holiday home where friends and family are invited to come and stay, and this has been extended to you. Consequently the price not is nearly as high as other loch side houses in the area, in return however we do ask that you bring your own linen, towels, tea towels and dish cloths and that you leave the place spotless as you found it.
The most comfortable wildlife hide in Scotland (probably!) From the conservatory enjoy the many visitors, we have seen Otters...
... Seals, Porpoises, Dolphins, Heron, Sea Eagle, Red Deer, and Pine Martens, the regulars all have names and there are more residents yet to meet.
The other great advantage of the house is you can launch small craft from the bottom of the garden, into the sheltered Loch. The bay has a basic slip way suitable for trailer craft, (4 wheel drive essential). Choose to sail, kayak, canoe, motor sail, watch out for the wildlife playing in the bay. Look out for sea urchins, star fish, catch yourself a mackerel or even lobster!
The peninsular has much to offer whether you enjoy walking in ancient oak woodlands or in the hills, fishing, boat trip, romantic ruined castles, mountain biking or just playing on sand dunes. For more details on Ardnamurchan click here
